For baby's sleep
The Welcome Pod™ is a baby nest suitable for sleeping in a cradle, cot or cotbed until about the first two months of baby's life or until the baby starts to stand up and turn on their own.
For a restful sleep from birth
The Welcome Pod can be used for baby sleep up to 2 months, approx. 9 weeks, or until your baby can roll over or stand up on their hands or knees unaided.
It is designed to be used alone, as it is, without sheets, blankets or other soft objects that can impede the correct posture and ideal temperature of the child.
It is ideal for sharing the moment of sleep together in the same room but in separate areas by placing it in a special cot or crib.
A sweet nest that will accompany your baby in the transition from the mother's womb to the unknown outside world.
Comfort, breathability and perfect ergonomics
The shape of the product makes it easier to maintain the supine position, while the rigid support base always guarantees the correct posture of the baby's body.
The rigid support base features small holes that increase breathability. The mattress includes a movable cylinder that guarantees the natural bending of the legs and in the head position there is a disc that mitigates the risk of plagiocephaly.
The use of breathable materials and natural fabrics such as bamboo fibers and cotton guarantee optimal comfort and breathability, favoring the child's natural thermoregulation.
Sweet lullaby
A baby nest with shapes, materials and design that hug the baby and help it to be sweetly lulled.
The transition from the mother's womb to the world is through a sleeping space adapted to the size of the baby, a small nest that gives it a sense of security but at the same time allows a look at the outside environment.
Perfect for a good night's sleep after a relaxing bath, cuddles and relaxing music.
What do we mean by tummy time?
By the term tummy time we mean the time that babies spend in the prone position, lying on their tummies when they are awake, active and in the mood for interaction. It is a routine of fundamental importance for the motor and cognitive development of babies.
It is a moment of play that can start from the first weeks up to 8 months. This routine allows us to accompany the child to discover the prone position in a controlled and comfortable environment, before they even learn to turn on their side or crawl.
Elasticity
Develops excellent flexibility and range of motion for the baby. Creates a great base for crawling and walking.
Muscle system
Strengthens neck and back muscles. During tummy time, the baby begins to lift their head and trunk by themselves, supported by their little hands.
Sensory development
It favors the baby's sensory development by developing the ability to coordinate the rectus and oblique muscles of the eyeball for peripheral vision.
Strengthening
It strengthens and tones the upper limbs by overcoming the force of gravity and promoting the development of the palmar arch.
Kinetic development
It stimulates and promotes the child's normal motor development with new movements, body positions and the activation of different muscles.
Baby gymnastics
Tummy time is real baby exercise. In addition to the other benefits of the prone position, it allows you to do a series of exercises with your newborn or older baby. You can start with a few seconds at first up to a maximum of 30 minutes at about eight months.
The exercises can be done using small visual stimuli that prompt the baby to lift its head and activate the muscles that move the neck and back. Tummy time should be an enjoyable time of play and should never tire the baby.
It must be done in a calm environment, in a safe and protected space and we must give our undivided attention to the baby, never leaving them alone.
A space dedicated to new explorations
The Welcome Pod allows for tummy time in a comfortable, safe environment. The semi-rigid structure of the mattress is specially designed to ensure maximum comfort for the baby even if the Welcome Pod is not placed on a perfectly flat surface.
For a more complete experience, when placing the baby face down on his tummy, it is recommended to place their arms and hands under their chest. This position allows the child to get up on their own more easily in a natural and spontaneous way.
During tummy time it is recommended to remove the roller and keep the Welcome Pod open to allow full sensory stimulation through free extension of the lower limbs.
